Frequently asked questions

Prepare your request with fewer unknowns.

Practical answers about quotes, files, deadlines, review and delivery.

Does a quote commit me to the work?

No. The quote is free and does not create a commitment. Work begins only after the proposal and its conditions have been expressly accepted.

What information should I send?

Include the service, source and target languages, purpose, intended audience or receiving organisation, desired deadline and available files. Editable documents, references, earlier versions and terminology guidance are useful where available.

Can I ask for an estimate before sharing the files?

Yes. A provisional estimate can be based on the information available. The final price and timetable are confirmed after the documents and requirements have been assessed.

How long will it take?

Timing depends on volume, languages, subject, format, review and any certification procedures. State your preferred deadline and flag urgent requests; the team confirms availability before accepting the work.

Which files can I send?

Editable files usually allow more efficient assessment and handling. Other formats can be evaluated, with any necessary conversion or preparation identified in the proposal. The quote form accepts up to five attachments, with a combined maximum of 7.5 MB; contact the team for larger files.

How are confidentiality and quality handled?

Files are used to assess the request and deliver the agreed service, with access limited to the people involved. Review stages and quality checks are defined according to the content and risk. Contact the team about any specific confidentiality requirements.

What does the proposal include?

The service, languages, scope, planned stages, deadline, price, VAT and relevant conditions. Changes to volume, format, purpose or timing may require an updated proposal.
